SIAMS

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspections are a statutory requirement for all Church of England schools in England. They evaluate the effectiveness and distinctiveness of the school as a Church school, focusing on how its Christian vision and values impact pupils and adults.

Evaluate Effectiveness and Distinctiveness:
SIAMS inspections assess how well a school lives up to its foundation as a Church school.

Focus on Outcomes:
They prioritise the impact of the school's Christian vision on pupils and adults, rather than solely on the process or procedures.

Key Questions:
The core question is: "How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?".

Distinctive Christian Vision:
The inspection examines how the school's Christian vision is implemented and how it impacts all aspects of school life.
