School Council
Bishop Gilpin’s School Council is a lively and active forum where our children share their views and help to make our school an even better place.
We have the following sub-committees, which allow us to focus on specific topics:
- Learning
- Fundraising and Charities
- Environment and Eco Scouts
- Performing Arts
- Sports and Health.
We have two elected representatives from every class, from Year 1 to Year 6.
These representatives listen to pupils' ideas and suggestions and liaise with the Headteacher and the Governors. They work alongside house captains to organise fundraising activities.
The School Council enables pupils to have a voice and be involved in making decisions.
